SCOOP: Sajid Nadiadwala inks a 5 film deal with Amazon Prime - From Heropanti 2, Bachchan Pandey to Kick 2 for more than Rs. 250 crores

Sajid Nadiadwala is among the most successful producers of Hindi film industry with a knack of commercial cinema like no one else. He is known for his business acumen and now, Bollywood Hungama has learnt that the filmmaker has inked a 5 film deal with Amazon Prime Video. "In the lockdown, Sajid Nadiadwala was in conversation with several OTT giants to ink a multi-film deal for his slate of releases and he found his partner in Amazon Prime Video. He has inked a mega deal upside of Rs. 250 crores for five of his upcoming films - Bachchan Pandey, Heropanti 2 , Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Satyanarayan Ki Katha and Kick 2 ," a source told Bollywood Hungama. Advance booking for Sooryavanshi and Eternals yet to open in multiplex chains due to revenue sharing and show-sharing issues

The much awaited film,  Sooryavanshi , is all set to release in four days, on November 5. The excitement is sky-high but surprisingly, the advance booking hasn’t opened yet in many cinemas and especially in the national multiplex chains like Inox, PVR and Cinepolis. This is because the cinemas and the producers of the film are in negotiations over two aspects. A source told  Bollywood Hungama , “Before the pandemic, the revenue sharing model was fixed since 2009 and the film industry was following it to the T. But post pandemic, the producers have been asking for a larger share.  Sooryavanshi ’s producers have asked for 60% revenue in Week 1, 55% in Week 2 and 50% in Week 3 and 4, from single screens, standalone multiplexes and non-national multiplexes. As for the national chains, the negotiations are going on and it’s expected to not be as high as 60% in the first week. Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar has been diagnosed by the novel coronavirus. The actress shared the news on October 31 about testing tested positive for the virus. Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha has said that his three kids Sonakshi Sinha, Luv, and Kush don't do drugs. They don't have such vices and their upbringing is good. Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's elder child Aryan Khan has returned home 28 days in jail. He was taken into custody on the night of October 2 by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) along with a few others after the agency conducted a raid on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. On October 3, Aryan Khan was arrested by the NCB in the case. On October 30, Aryan Khan was released from Arthur Road Jail. Dwayne Johnson to reunite with Jumanji director Jake Kasdan for Christmas-themed adventure movie Red One

Filmmaker Jake Kasdan is reuniting with his Jumanji star Dwayne Johnson for Red One , the unique Christmas-themed feature project set up at Amazon. Hiram Garcia, the President of production of Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions created the original story which is now being translated into a script by Chris Morgan, who previously worked with Johnson on four Fast and Furious movies as well as the Johnson-led 2019 spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw . Zayn Malik denies harassment charges of allegedly shoving Yolanda Hadid during fight

Singer Zayn Malik has denied to multiple charges of harassment against his ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid and her mother Yolanda following a volatile September argument at their Pennsylvania home, according to court documents obtained by People tabloid. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to shoot a song before Brahmastra wrap up

As the much-awaited Brahmastra seems to have reached its last leg, it is heard that director Ayan Mukerji has included a song at the last minute. KQ Entertainment to take strong legal action against invasion of ATEEZ’ privacy

South Korean pop group ATEEZ’ agency KQ Entertainment has released an official statement announcing that they are going to take legal measures against those who invade ATEEZ’ privacy. Aryan Khan to walk out of jail today only if the release order reaches Arthur Road Jail before 5.30 pm

It was a reason to rejoice for Shah Rukh Khan's family, his near and dear ones, and all his fans as the superstar's son Aryan Khan was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on Thursday evening. Along with Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were also granted bail. The three are currently lodged in the Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai. They cannot be released before the judge sends out the bail order document which states detailed reasoning for bail and the bail conditions. The bail order needs to be sent to a lower court who will issue a release order which should reach the prison's bail box by 5.30 pm today. If the document reaches post 5.30, all three will have to spend another night in prison and will be released only tomorrow morning. Aryan, Arbaaz, and Munmun have already spent 25 days in custody after they were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) post a raid on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. Aryan Khan expected to walk out of Arthur Road jail today in evening

Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was granted bail by the Bombay High Court yesterday in the 'Drug on Cruise' case. Aryan was arrested with Salim Merchant and five others on October 2nd. While Aryan Khan was not found in possession of drugs, he was constantly denied bail on the grounds of alleged incriminating evidence found on his WhatsApp chats. Aryan Khan was locked at Arthur Road jail in Mumbai for almost 25 days.  Now, as the honourable Bombay high court has passed his plea of bail, he'll be soon released by the NCB and the police. However, the court is yet to give a detailed order on Friday, following which Aryan Khan will be released. Advocate Satish Maneshinde, who represented Aryan Khan in the case told a news portal that they're expecting to receive orders of the Bombay High Court from the HC registry today evening.
